Homecoming Parade

The week of Homecoming they hold a homecoming parade to introduce candidates and celebrate the week. I did this video because I did it last and i wanted to do it again and I also love homecoming week and i wanted to be part of it somehow. This video took one day to film, edit and finish. We filmed it on a Thursday during seminar and then spent the rest of the day editing it so it could be put on the homecoming show that afternoon. For the short amount of time it took to whip this video out I was pretty proud of the outcome and I couldn't expect any better. What I have learned was that all packages can made in one day if you stay focused and work hard.

Lego Builder Ben Whitney

This was a a video over Sophomore Ben Whitney and his passion for building legos. What was unique about him was that he wasn't playing with the legos like they were a toy. He built legos for a tool to mock cool building he had seen or he would make stuff up. This video took awhile because there was a lot of conflict between us and him. We couldn't figure out a time that would work for all of us. The outcome of this video isn't quite what I expected because the b-roll was hard to get. What I learned from making this video was that preparing a time to meet in advance to make sure that it will be guaranteed so they video can be made in a timely fashion. 

REBEL Club

This was a video over the new club at school called the REBEL Club. This club was started to so that people around our school would stop caring about what other people think. They want the students embrace themselves for who they are. This video took about a week or maybe a little more. The focus of this package wasn't supposed to be like a normal package it was to be inspirational and thats what we wanted people to get out of this. I think the outcome was what I expected and I hope to make more packages like this one. I learned that you need to be prepared before you call people down to film a video.

ONW Now Intro

This was the very first video I made this year. It is the opener for ONW Now that took about 3 weeks to make. We had to film everyone in the class that was in the video then we had to film all the extra stuff that went into the video. After we had all the video filmed we collaborated with the animation strand. I feel that the outcome of this intro was better than I expected it to be. I honestly thought that it wasn't going to turn out at all. I am very proud of this intro and I think it is the best intro that ONW Now has ever had. I learned from making this video that animation and all the other strands of e-comm play a big part in the making of ONW Now.
